AdjunctInstructor – Biomedical EngineeringThe College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in Ewing, NJ is a highlyselective, public institution that has earned national recognition for itscommitment to excellence. The School of Engineering at TCNJ is hiring talented,part-time adjunct faculty to teach subjects in Biomedical Engineering,including Bioinstrumentation, Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Systems Physiology,Biofluids, Biotransport, and Advanced Engineering Mathematics II (PartialDifferential Equations and Probability/Statistics).We are also accepting applications forinstructors in advanced elective topics for 3rd and 4thyear students. Examples of such coursesinclude Advanced cardiovascular fluid dynamics,Injury biomechanics, Artificial organs, Biomedical imaging, and topics intissue engineering. The topic should bebased on the instructor’s education and experience. Additionally, these advanced elective topicscourses include a design hour wherein the instructor will guide students inhands-on and/or literature-based design that complements the core lecturematerial.For all positions, individuals should hold a PhD in anappropriate field relevant to the proposed topic, but individuals with a masterdegree and/or specialized experience will be considered and are encouraged toapply. Previous teaching experience, industrial experience, or professionallicensure is a plus. We work with our adjunct faculty to schedule teaching thatfits into work and personal schedules.Qualified candidates should provide a letter of interest,curriculum vitae or resume, a statement of relevent teaching and/or industryqualifications, and unofficial transcripts (official transcripts will berequired if offered a position). Forelective courses, provide a proposed course topic. Please include the names andcontact information for at least three technical references.
