Associate Director/Director – Pharmacokinetics

Overall Description The Associate Director/Director, Pharmacokinetics will be an essential contributor to both discovery and clinical programs at Arcus.

Working in collaboration with Discovery, Clinical Development, and Translational functional areas, the candidate will provide pharmacokinetic and clinical pharmacology guidance to programs at all stages.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Perform human PK projection, and contribute to the analysis of pre-clinical PK/PD data for selection of FIH dose levels Collaborate with Clinical Development to characterize human pharmacokinetics, metabolism and biopharmaceutics of clinical compounds Contribute to design and review of clinical protocols and analysis plans Plan and execute analysis and interpretation of clinical PK/PD data to guide project team decisions Author and review pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology components of investigator’s brochures, study reports and other regulatory documents Establish and maintain relationships and agreements with external vendors Manage and mentor junior level scientists Qualifications Education/Experience: A PhD or PharmD degree with at least 8 years’ experience in clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or a related scientific discipline Experience in the early and late stage development of both small molecules and biologics is desirable Expert knowledge in Pharmacokinetics and a working knowledge of clinical application of other DMPK disciplines (bioanalytical chemistry, drug metabolism and biopharmaceutics) Working knowledge of pharmacokinetic and other analysis software (e.g.

WinNonlin, NONMEM, etc.) and demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and critically assess and/or perform PK/PD data analyses A good knowledge of current regulatory guidelines Demonstrated capability to manage and mentor junior level scientists Excellent oral and written communication skills
