ATS: Interventional radiology physician + up to a 5% signing reward

Our Client is looking for a Interventional Radiology Physician to provide services at the Memphis VAMC!

Hours: Hours: (Normal Hours) Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm.

(Weeknights on-call hours) Monday Thursday 4:30pm 8:00am.

(Weekends) Friday Monday 4:30pm 8:00am.

Scope of Care: Contractor’s physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Angio-Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited: Angiography Cryoblation Balloon angioplasty/stent placement Line insertion Chemoembolization IVC filters Cholecystostomy Vertebroplasty Drain insertions Nephrostomy placement Embolization Radiologically inserted gastrostomy Thrombolysis Dialysis access & related interventions Biopsy TIPS placement Radiofrequency ablation Biliary intervention Endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins Consultation Responsibilities: Contractor physician(s) shall provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for interventional radiologic procedures so that the most expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up can be done.

Contractor physician(s) shall determine the appropriate course of treatment and communicate in person or by phone with the referring clinicians.

Contractor physician(s) shall provide review of consults and next day patient cases for minimum of two hours daily.

Qualifications: The Contractor’s physician (s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.

All contractor’s physician(s) shall be Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology unless they are in a one year after residency or participating in the American Board of Radiology Pathway.

Interventional Radiologist must have Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Angio-Interventional Radiology.

Must possess a current DEA license.
