Position Highlights

In this new and exciting role as a Business Analyst, Surgery Information Systems, you are responsible for providing a range of business and systems analysis services to surgical areas across Fraser Health. This includes data delivery, performance reporting, modeling and analytics, technical planning, and process/system improvement. The Analyst oversees assigned project resources, develops project plans where necessary and ensures that plans are aligned with the objectives of the portfolio.

In this position your primary responsibilities include:

  • Working with clinical program partners to define business needs and develop analytics-based solutions
  • Extracting, processing, and delivering data used in planning and improvement initiatives
  • Establishing metrics and developing and maintaining performance reports
  • Applying modeling and other analytics to technical planning and process/system improvement initiatives

As the successful candidate, you have the following requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in computing, business, engineering, or other related disciplines or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Five to seven years related experience in areas of information systems, health care management and/or business systems analysis.

We currently have two full-time positions available at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
