CNESST Specialist – Montreal

We are looking for a CNESST Specialist for one of our clients.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Registered professional designation / certification or search for a (paralegal) or other related training Certified practitioner in disability management / certified return to work coordinator
  • Relevant experience in CNESST case management / return-to-work initiatives / CNESST appeal experience / evaluation of NEER experience (ie NEET, cad, MAP, etc.)
  • High level knowledge of legislation, operational policy and evaluation of CNESST experience
  • A healthy vision and understanding of musculoskeletal disorders and mental health
  • Understanding of the musculoskeletal system and health care approaches
  • Critical thinking skills, analytical reasoning
  • Strong sense of urgency with prioritization, organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (French and English)
  • Able to work as a positive key member of a team as well as independent
  • Ability to work according to established procedure and policy to ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
  • The desire to learn
  • Strong skills and competencies in the Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn an internal database system

A day in the life of a CNESST Specialist :

  • Responsible for managing the daily complaints of the CNESST for current and new customers, without loss of time, recovery and return to work.
  • Claims management includes strong return to work / no time lost strategies, calls and data analysis for continuous and continuous improvement.
  • The CNESST Specialist is involved in maintaining and developing the practices and procedures for providing services and taking care of the disabled.
  • The CNESST specialist will communicate with the main stakeholders involved in order to manage return-to-work planning and mitigate lost time.
  • The CNESST specialist manages the complaint, assesses the historical performance of the complaints, confirms the treatment programs with the health care provider and liaises with all stakeholders to provide programs focused on solutions that have gone into the database internal data and follow best practices for handling complaints and care.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Provide quarterly and annual reports with continuous improvement.
