Submit your application with HealthONE’s Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Rocky Mountain Hospitals for Children today Position Summary: The Continuing Medical Education/Graduate Medical Education (CME/GME) Coordinator is responsible for the Continuing Medical Education Program in collaboration with the Continental Division CME Director and the Director of Medical Staff Services. The CME program provides education to the hospital’s medical staff and supports hospital strategic initiatives. The coordinator will work with the Service Line Directors, Physician Relationship Directors, and Quality personnel to help the conferences grow in attendance and awareness. The coordinator will be responsible for all of the requirements necessary for proper CME credits. This involves screening the presenters for conflicts of interest, reviewing their presentations for proper content, monitoring attendance and providing proper credit hours for attendance. The GME portion of the position will require the coordinator to be responsible for coordinating clinical rotations for medical students, residents, and fellows. This includes verifying that the Teaching Practitioner Agreement or Affiliation Agreement is current and in place and that the student/resident/fellow has all appropriate documentation. This position also processes observation requests. This position will also cross train to maintain the hospital call schedule and to work credential files. Working knowledge of regulatory agency requirements desired. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; feels comfortable with hospital Audio/Visual systems and has the ability to trouble shoot when needed.
