Under the direction of the CNO, the Clinical Director of the Oncology Medical Surgical Unit is responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements, coordinating performance improvement activities, staffing, and serving as staff resource. The Clinical Director of Oncology MedSurg will be responsible for managing nursing services and staff for the department as well as ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards. The hospital is looking for a strong motivational leader with the ability to lead and direct the department to optimize success. This leader must be personable, friendly, and experienced in Med/Surg Services, as they will be leading a large team of employees. The Clinical Director of Med/Surg should have strong knowledge of day to day operations of the Medical Surgical Department, and is considered a resource for the nursing staff. BSN required for this role, Master’s preferred.
