Our programs are designed to protect children from abuse and neglect; to help people overcome substance abuse, to manage mental health, or to gain control of debilitating behaviors; to care for and connect seniors to needed services; to provide emergency financial and food assistance to support Holocaust survivors; and to welcome and help resettle refugees from around the world.WHAT WE OFFER:* Competitive salary* Continuous training and professional development opportunities* Mileage Reimbursement* An opportunity to make the world a better place!POSITION SUMMARY:Provide quality nursing care and psychosocial rehabilitation, while maintaining current and accurate medical records and service as liaison with community medical service providers.* This position is for Saturdays and Sundays 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Shifts.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Responsible for distribution of medications as prescribed to ARTS clients.* Responsible for maintaining current medical information on all clients, to include taking vital signs on a regular basis.* Responsible for reviewing all medical records and requesting pertinent medical information from appropriate sources.* Accurate documenting/transcription of all physicians orders.* Participate in treatment, planning, and implementation of client care.* Supervise and/or monitor medication regiments on all clients.* Monitor/ maintain supply levels of medications, approved medical supplies and forms.* Maintain/initiate reports and all medical records/communications for client visits, medical care, psychiatrists/physicians reports/consultations, in compliance with the State and Federal regulations.* Attends meetings as assigned by supervisor.* Works on an as needed basis during emergency conditions.* Provide emergency medical or psychiatric care to all clients/staff as necessary.* Attend and participate in staff meetings, working as a contributing member of an inter-disciplinary treatment team in providing client services and achieving program goals.* Attend and participate in compliance training programs, and scheduled training programs required by Medicaid regulations.* Filing in clinical chart as assigned by Program Director.* Perform housekeeping activities as directed: facility cleaning/sanitation, bed and linen care, light housekeeping functions as designated by shift LPN or Program Director.* Ensure safety, sanitation and general well-being of ARTS clients 24 hours/7 days per week. Safety is primarily achieved though the accurate completion of the Wellness and Accountability Checks (a.k.a. hourly checks).EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* Current LPN License (Florida)* Must have valid Florida Driver’s License and Florida auto insurance* Must be 21 year’s of age* 2+ years post-licensure work experience preferred.* Experience working with the geriatric and seriously mentally ill population preferred.* Post High School education in psychology or related field preferred.
