Nova Scotia Health Authority provides health services to Nova Scotians and some specialized services to Maritimers and Atlantic Canadians. This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.


Our Occupational Therapists provide programs and services to patients. This involves assessing client’s needs, and planning, implementing and documenting Occupational Therapy services while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications, including years of experience, vary depending on the position hired for. You must be eligible to register or registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia and eligible for, or a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.   If you are interested in joining our team, please submit an application so we can learn more about your skills and experience.
