A prestigious healthcare system is seeking an Oncology Assistant Nurse Manager RN to join their Oncology leadership team in the Greater New Jersey area. 

This Oncology Assistant Nurse Manager RN will work at 650+ bed hospital, joining one of the most reputable hospital healthcare systems in New Jersey. With one of the most advanced cancer centers in New Jersey, this hospital currently conducts over 300 ongoing clinical trials and offers treatment care plans for all types and stages of cancer. The Oncology Assistant Nurse Manager RN will work in the inpatient oncology department, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of Oncology, and will be overseeing oncology department staff and technicians. Responsibilities of the Oncology Assistant Nurse Manager will include overseeing departmental operational workflow, staff education, scheduling, conflict resolution, and oversight of patient care treatment plans. 

The ideal Oncology Assistant Nurse Manager RN will be an active RN with Inpatient Oncology, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry clinical background. Although not required, the ideal Oncology Nurse Team Leader will be OCN, ONS, ONCC, or AOCNS certified. In addition, the Oncology Nurse Team Leader will be excited to motivate teams, develop new goals and initiatives, effectively communicate and cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, focused on delivering exceptional patient care, and up to date on best practices, technology, and techniques.
