ParaMed: Registered Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse (Rpn/Rn), Pt & Ft


This is a Part-time position in Guelph, ON posted June 17, 2020.

The Registered Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse will practice in accordance with legislation and the standards as determined by their regulatory body and the practice setting.

The RPN/RN will have the knowledge to assess, select, implement and evaluate a wide range of nursing interventions to ensure consistent safe, competent and ethical care.

Client groups receiving care may include Paediatrics and/or Adults with complex medical/health concerns.

Care will take place within the community within a residential or institutional setting with referrals generated by a variety of sources including government agencies, employers, insurance companies or private payees.

As part of the provincial government’s pandemic pay initiative, ParaMed is committed to providing a $4/hour wage enhancement to front line team members for all hours worked until August 13.

In addition, front line team members will be eligible for an additional $250/month when they have worked 100 hours.QualificationsRegistration/licensing with provincial regulatory college in good standingPreferably has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse ideally in a community settingC.N.A.
