Position Summary
East Kootenay Regional Hospital currently has casual opportunities on our surgical nursing team. If you are passionate in providing high quality patient centered care and are looking to join a cohesive team, apply today to join us in Cranbrook, B.C.!

This is a 22 bed unit where nurses provide pre and post-operative care. Nursing shifts are rotating 12 hours, 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00. Shift types are days and nights.

The Registered Nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

Community Profile: Located in the southeastern corner of British Columbia, Cranbrook is the business capital of the East Kootenays and the largest city in the Rocky Mountain Region. Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

**Previous surgical experience would be considered an asset.
