Residential Clinical Therapist


This is a Contract position in Beaver Falls, PA posted June 17, 2020.

POSITION DETAILS Conduct intake assessments and clinical evaluations of potential residents.

Lead in the development of individual treatment plans.

Update treatment plans in conjunction with Psychiatrist and other members of treatment team at a minimum of every 30 days for each assigned consumer.

Provide a minimum of 32 hours of individual psychotherapy weekly.

Adhere to the alternative outpatient payment structure to ensure residents receive the adequate level of care.

Oversee and/or provide group psychotherapy sessions to ensure clinical integrity and use of evidence-based practices.

Determine proper modalities of treatment and provide appropriate therapy for each assigned resident in accordance with his/her treatment plan.

Serve as primary case manager for all residents on caseload.

This involves coordination of service delivery with other departments and agencies, consultation with treating Psychiatrist regarding medication compliance, discharge planning, and other issues.

Ensure accurate and required documentation is properly recorded for each resident within the assigned caseload that is necessary to meet state regulatory standards.

This includes, but is not limited to, regular review and update of treatment plans, daily progress notes that are consistent with treatment goals, etc.

Provide ongoing assessment of resident’s mental illness symptoms and response to treatment and activities in which they are participating.

Collaborate with the team to create a team-oriented environment in which the resident’s point of view and experience are recognized, understood and respected, and in which self determination and decision making in treatment planning are maximized and supported.

Manage behavioral health crisis and residential emergencies to ensure the safety of residents, staff and community.

Transport and monitor residents in the community when clinically or medically appropriate with Director approval.

Ensure proper incident reporting occurs through NHS, state (HCSIS), county, and payers.

Available for intermittent on call responsibility as assigned.

Submit all documentation in a timely fashion.

Perform other related duties as required.
