Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Shared Health was created as Manitoba undertakes a broad Health System Transformation that lays the foundation for strategic system realignment and improved patient care. The implementation of a Supply Chain Management Shared Service is included in Wave Two of the broader Health System Transformation. Initial project focus is on the establishment of a provincial contract management and strategic sourcing function. This position will play a vital part of the contract management and strategic sourcing function within the future state of our supply chain service. Our efforts are rooted in a commitment to improving the quality, consistency and efficiency of the health-care services provided to Manitobans.
Reporting to the Director, Contracting Services or assigned Supply Chain senior staff, and working collaboratively with, or under the direction of, other members of the supply chain team, this role provides required analytical services as part of the assigned Supply Chain Team. The assigned work includes but is not limited to; solicitation of technical, business or clinical requirements/functionality, interpretation/assessment, data/financial analysis to inform business or procurement decisions; coordination of contracting, sourcing, operational support or value analysis services and developing and maintaining standard templates or processes.
Experience
Experience in identification of strategic business needs/goals, process enhancement, and data analysis.
